About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) providing psychotherapy to residents of California for individual and relational themes.
The breadth and depth of my education informs and supports the work that I do with you. My foundational psychotherapy-related education is a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco, CA. My qualifications also include trainings in:
Somatic Experiencing (Certificate Completed)

Somatic Regulation and Resilience (SRR)

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
Compassion Focused Therapy
The Gottman Method for couple therapy
The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy
Gestalt therapy

Play therapy
Additionally, I weave western psychological orientations with eastern spiritual thought as a foundation to provide holistic psychotherapy.
My personal experiences of immigration enhance my sensitivity to address issues related to assimilation, integration, multi-racial relationship, and cultural identity for various generations within a family.
Through my previous careers in small-scale manufacturing units and large corporations in Silicon Valley, I have gained an appreciation for the rewards and demands of working in the tech industry of the San Francisco Bay Area.
I am multi-lingual and provide therapy in English and Hindi.
